Irving S. Harrington died on Monday, February 19th at the Bay Pointe Nursing Home in Brockton. He was 90 years old. Born in Whitman, he grew up in Needham. He lived in Lexington from 1968 until he recently moved to Brockton. Irving was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Lt. Manson H. Carter VFW Post 2498 in Needham. Mr. Harrington worked for Itech in Lexington as a courier for 20 years. The beloved husband of the late Helen M. (Sodones) he was the father of the late Marilyn F. Gallagher and her husband Denis Gallagher of Brockton, Leslie Stunzenas and her husband Raymond of Marshfield. Grandfather of Scott and Gregory Stunzenas. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Friday February 23rd at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church Newton Upper Falls at 10:30 AM.
