Mr. Thomas J. Flakes, Jr., 59, passed away on Friday at Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Flakes is survived by his aunt, Mrs. Alice Garner of Tuscumbia, AL; two first cousins, Randolph (Sylvia) of Huntsville and Curtis Flakes (Deborah) of Mobile, AL and several other cousins, relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Flakes will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday from the Powell Chapel United Methodist Church in Lafayette, AL with Reverend David Tucker officiating. Interment will be in Handy Cemetery in Lafayette. Nelms Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements.
