NASHUA, NH—Margaret Rose (Walsh) Mercier, 64 years old, died Monday afternoon February 19th, at the Greenbriar Nursing Home, in Nashua, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Lowell, on November 17, 1942, a daughter of the late Francis and Margaret (Livingstone) Walsh, and was a graduate of Lowell High School.
Mrs. Mercier had been employed as a Customer Service Rep and Quality Control Officer by United Circuits, in Dracut, and Consolidated Design, in Lowell, until her retirement. She was an avid football fan and followed the New England Patriots.
Surviving her are her children: Brenda Mercier, of Arlington; Michelle Hodge, of Pelham, NH; Michael Mercier, of Arlington; and Heather Hebert, of Manchester, NH; three granddaughters: Sarah H. Mercier, Brittany Piscopo, and Miranda Piscopo; a brother: Robert Walsh, of Brentwood, NH; one aunt: Rose McBride; two nephews: Kevin and Matthew Walsh; a niece: Candace Aiken; and two grandnieces: Abigail and Madeline Walsh.
She was the sister of the late Donna Bostwick.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, February 22nd, at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38), Lowell. Her funeral service will be held on Friday February 23rd, at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial in the Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell.
