Gloria (Levine) Maniff, 81, a resident of Delray Beach, FL, formerly of Swampscott & Revere, died peacefully on February 19, 2007 at the Newton-Wellesley Alzheimers Center in Wellesley.
Born in Winthrop, the daughter of the late Louis & Esther Levine, Gloria was raised & educated in Winthrop, graduating from Winthrop High School. She dedicated her life to caring for her beloved husband & children. Gloria was a kind woman who will be remembered for her generosity & friendship.
Survivors include her husband, Sheppard Maniff; her children, Esther Altman & her husband Lenny of Framingham & Maury Maniff & his wife Susan of New York; & her grandchildren, Michael, Tracy, Jessica, & Jonathan.
Private funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 in the Torf Funeral Chapel. Those wishing to remember Gloria may do so through memorial donations to the Alzheimers Association, 311 Arsenal St. Watertown, MA 02472.
