Shannon Wilanda Locke Virola was born on August 21, 1976 in Huntsville, Alabama to Willie E. Locke, Sr. and the late Elouise Powell Locke. She quietly and calmly responded to the Master’s summons and made her transition on Monday, November 27, 2006.
Shannon joined First Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. She was faith member until she was called home.
Shannon graduated from Lee High School in 1994. She received a Practical Nursing Degree from Drake State Technical College in 2005.
Shannon was a member of 4-H, Girls Scouts of America and the Order of Eastern Stars. Shannon was an AKA Debutante in 1994.
Shannon was a kind, thoughtful, and very caring individual and will forever live in the memory of all who knew her. Her greatest passion was spending time with her children and fiancé.
Shannon leaves to cherish her memories three children: Salina Louise Virola, Camilla Reece Virola, and Avery Jonathan Virola; her father, Willie Locke, Sr.; her fiancé, Kerry Perkins; one brother, Willie Edward (Demetrice) Locke, Jr.; a niece, Alana Marie Locke; nephew, Jason William Locke, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
