
Mrs. Lillie Mae Putman Bowser began this journey on December 14, 1930 in Lawrens County, South Carolina, born to the late Mr. Mennon and Mrs. Bertha Mitchell Putman.
At an early age, she confessed hope in Christ at Center Rabun Baptist Church and at a young age married the late Mr. Tommie Bowser. To this union, five children were born; Robert Bowser (Mary) of Huntsville, Alabama, Yoneko Bowser of Huntsville, Alabama, Donnie Bowser (Gina) of Chandler, Arizona, Alree Bowser of Huntsville, Alabama; Melvin Bowser (Leslie) of Fort Worth, Texas; four grandchildren: Marcus Lightfoot, Sheena Bowser, Phoebe Bowser of Huntsville, Alabama, and Nathan Bowser of Fort Worth, Texas; two great-grandchildren: Jordan Gooden of Huntsville, Alabama and Marcellus Lightfoot of Huntsville, Alabama; one brother, Fred Putman of Gray Court, South Carolina; one sister, Onnie Ree Williams (Steve) of Queens Village, New York; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
