Obituary

Scott Reels of Sandwich, MA passed away peacefully on February 16, 2007. Scott was born on October 25, 1964 in South Kingston, RI, son of Juanita H. Sebastian Reels and Thomas Reels Sr.

Scott worked within several Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation departments such as: Sand and Gravel, Casino Catering, Child Development Center and the Lake of Isles. The things Scott enjoyed most in life were spending time with his family, cooking, traveling, making everyone laugh and especially family gatherings.

Scott leaves to mourn: a loving wife, Lorraine Yvette (Foster) Reels, two daughters, Larissa Drayton of Groton, CT and Malaysia Ferguson, two sons, Tyrone Brunson, Scott Reels Jr. and one granddaughter Taliyanna Ferguson all of Sandwich, MA. He also leaves behind his brothers Stuart E. Sebastian, Thomas Reels Jr., Kenneth M. Reels, Wayne D. Reels all of CT, Ronald Hay and Timothy Hay both of RI. He also leaves behind sisters Coriene A. Northup, Juanita H. Montey, Annette L. Stone, Kim S. Reels, Phyllis C. Smith, Roxanne L. (Reels) Smith and Heather Reels, all of CT.

Scott was predeceased by his two sisters Tina Marie Reels and Tyelee Reels. Scott is survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, tribal family and a host of friends.

Scott brought joy to us all. His memories will live on forever.

His family will greet relatives and friends at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Wednesday from 11am-11:45am, immediately followed by a Service at 12noon. Burial will be in the Mashantucket Pequot Burial Ground.
