Swampscott: Robert H. LeClerc, age 50 of Swampscott, died unexpectedly Sunday, February 18, 2007 at the NSMC / Salem Hospital. He was the husband of Susan R. (Dumas) with whom he shared 30 years of marriage.
Born and raised in Salem, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary (Jemery) LeClerc. Married to Susan in 1976, the couple settled in Swampscott where he was employed at Sam’s Citgo service station. In 1991 he acquired the garage and changed the name of the business to Paradise Auto Service.
Bob was a member of the Salem Ward II Social Club and the St. John’s Sports Club of Swampscott. He loved nature and camping, especially in New Hampshire. He was also a member of St. John the Evangelist parish of Swampscott.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 4 daughters: Nicole, Randi & Tammy LeClerc all of Swampscott, Amanda LeClerc of Salem, 2 sons: Matthew & Christopher LeClerc both of Swampscott. He is also survived by a brother Ronald LeClerc of Danvers, nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews. He was predeceased by his sister Laura LeClerc.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral on Thursday morning, February 22, 2007, at 8:30 am from the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St., [Rt. 114 / 1-A] Salem, followed by his funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, 178 Humphrey St., Swampscott at 10 am. Visiting hours: Wednesday 4 to 8 pm. Burial will be in Swampscott Cemetery, Swampscott.
