WORCESTER-Rita (Blais) Stuka, 87 of 50 pine View Avenue died Wednesday, October 23rd in Radius Healthcare Center. Her husband, Stephen Stuka died in March. She leaves a son, Paul S. Stuka of Medfield; a brother, Paul J. Blais of Auburn; a sister, Eleanor McKinstry of Auburn; 2 grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Arthur L. and Hector E. Blais and a sister, Lorraine Bedard predeceased her.
She was born in Auburn daughter of Arthur A. and Cordelia (Parenteau) Blais and lived in Worcester for many years. Mrs. Stuka was a cook at Worcester City Hospital Coffee Shop for 25 years retiring in 1988. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.
The funeral will be Monday, October 28th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday, October 27th from 2:00 until 4:00 PM in the funeral home.
