Edwin S. MacPhee age 80 of Salem, NH, died Friday at Haven Health Center, Derry, NH.
He was born in Chelsea, MA, where he grew up and attended schools. He was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 33 years, formerly of Everett, MA.
Mr. MacPhee was a retired Pipe Fitter for Local # 537 in Boston, MA. He was a US Navy veteran, serving during World War II. He was a life member of the Salem VFW Post 8546, a member of the Derry-Salem Elks Lodge, and the Salem Kiwanis Club.
He was predeceased by his wife Barbara (Morrow) MacPhee.
He is survived by 1 Son: Robert MacPhee of Windham, NH
3 Daughters: Audrey MacPhee of Delray Beach, FL
Karen & her Husband Brad Hoffmaster of East Kingston, NH
Sharon & her Husband Travis Thompson of Stratham, NH
1 Sister: Phyllis Cheyne of Deerfield Beach, FL
7 Grandchildren, Several Nieces & Nephews
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 1:30 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
Calling hours will be held Monday, Feb. 19 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
