Obituary

Worcester- Elenora U. (Pofit) Harding, 91, formerly of 314 Highland Street, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, in Worcester.

Her husband, Thomas J. Harding Sr., died in 1963. She leaves a daughter, Patricia C. Vincent of Worcester; a brother, Joseph Pofit of Medford; a sister, Regina Nalewajek of Kensington, CT; 2 granddaughters, Ellen Lapriore of Belmont and Maureen Cabral of Worcester; a daughter-in-law, Carol A. Harding of Worcester; 3 great granddaughters; nephews and nieces. Her son, Thomas J. Harding Jr. of Worcester, died in 1961. Two sisters, Mary Kowal and Annie Szymkiewicz, both of Worcester, predeceased her. She was born in the Cherry Valley section of Leicester and lived here most of her life.

Mrs. Harding was a waitress many years at the Town & Country Restaurant in Sterling, retiring in 1986. The restaurant was owned and operated by her family.

She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Catholic Parish.

The funeral will be held Friday, Oct. 25, from Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward Street, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. A calling hour is from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, in the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Daily TV Mass, 10 Hammond Street, Worcester, MA 01610.
