Cheryl L. (Schoewe) Hudson, 54, of Mansfield died unexpectedly on Wednesday February 14, 2007 at home. She was the beloved wife of David W. Hudson to whom she was wed to on May 11, 1986.
Born in Huntington, West Virginia on November 28, 1952 she was a loving daughter of R. Baird Schoewe and his wife Nancy of Lawrenceburg, Indiana and the late Eloise E. (Burdett) Schoewe.
She grew up and was educated in Huntington schools. She had attended Marshall University also in Huntington. Mrs. Hudson was a Financial Service Systems Administrator and had worked for the past 24 years at The First Church Christ Scientist in Boston of which she was also a member.
Cheryl was a loving homemaker to her family. She enjoyed cooking and was also a true Boston sports enthusiast. Music also played an important part of both hers and her family’s lives. Her late grandfather was a symphony conductor. She had made her home in Mansfield for the past 13 years and was a former 8 year resident of Foxboro.
Besides her loving husband of over 20 years and her parents she is survived by her devoted son Bryan D. Hudson of Mansfield. Her dear sisters Karen Hughes of Bellevue, Kentucky, Tina Scheurle and her husband Jay of Arnold, Maryland and Dawn Knowles and her husband Tim of Swanzey, New Hampshire.
Memorial services, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home 55 North Main St. Mansfield at a date and time to be announced
