Henry W. Ford, 75, died Thursday, February 15th in Brockton Hospital after a short illness. He was the husband of Sheila (Adams) Ford.
Born and brought up in Whitman and the East Bridgewater area, he attended East Bridgewater schools. He was the son of the late Everett and Lillian (Nash) Ford.
He has lived in East Bridgewater for 53 years.
He worked in maintenance for Simpson Springs in Easton for 30 years.
He was a member of the Teamsters Local #653.
Henry was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War 1951-1954.
In addition to his wife , he is survived by one son, Henry W. Ford, Jr. of Plymouth, 3 daughters , Joyce Brown of East Bridgewater, Susan Shenette of Rockland, Kim Cameron of Whitman, his sister Meredith Ruth of Florida; also 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Frances Wilkinson and the brother of the late Ruth Sumner.
His Funeral will be held Monday, February 19th at 11:00A.M. in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman , MA. Burial will follow in the Northville Cemetery, East Bridgewater, MA. Visiting hours Sunday February 18th 4-8 P.M.
