Sheila “Shelley” Simon, a resident of Revere for the past 10 years, & formerly of Medford passed away suddenly in her home on February 13, 2007. She was 69 years old.
Born in Bronx, N.Y. on January 7, 1938, Shelley was raised & educated in the Bronx. Shelley dedicated her life to raising her beloved son Michael Simon of Haverhill. She was a kind woman who enjoyed life and was a friend to all that she came in contact with.
Daughter of the late Pincus & Sara (Lees) Simon, Shelley is survived by her brother Melvin Simon & his wife Yvonne of Bronx, N.Y.; her dear friend Donna Weston of Revere; & several nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late Paula Anderson.
Funeral services will be held in the Torf Funeral Chapel,
151 Washington Ave. (Cary Sq) CHELSEA on Sunday, February 18, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Greenview Memorial Park, Fuller St. Everett. Memorial observance will be private. Donations in Shelley’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 9 Riverside Rd. Weston, MA 02493.
