Mary Rita Wiegelmann

ANDOVER, MA - Mary Rita (Bratton) Wiegelmann, age 92, died Wednesday, Februaryy
14, at the Wingate at Andover, nursing care facility, in Andover, MA, after a brief period of
declining health. She was the beloved wife of Arthur A. Wiegelmann, who died in 1977.
Mrs. Wiegelmann was born in NYC a daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine (Walsh)
Bratton, and a lifelong resident of Lindenhurst, NY, where she was an active member of the
Order of the Eastern Star. She had moved to Andover, Mass 25 years ago to live with her
daughter.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law Arthur Wiegelmann and his wife Maureen of
Calabash, N.C., Thomas Wiegelmann of Sabastian, Fl., a daughter and son-in-law, Lynn Muccio
and her husband Salvatore of Andover, MA; two brothers, James Bratton and William Bratton
both of FL; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
She was also sister of the late Anna Wetzel, Alice Goodman, and Thomas Bratton.
A Service of Committal was held Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Chapel at Breslau
Cemetery, Lindenhurst, N.Y. Memorials to the Shriners Hospital for Children Burn Institute, 51 Blossom
St., Boston, MA 02114, will be appreciated.
