Anna E. Barnick, of Dickson City, formerly of Dunmore, died Saturday night, 2/10/2007, at the Lackawanna County Health Care Center, Blakely. She was the widow of Andrew Barnick.
Born in Dunmore, daughter of the late Andrew and Veronica Tomko Kolibob, she was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Olyphant. She was educated in Dunmore schools and worked at the Double Woven Mill, Dunmore, and in retail and as a seamstress.
She was a loving wife and mother, and will be sadly missed.
Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Woollam, Dickson City; a grandson, Mark Mecca, Clarks Summit; three sisters, Marion Bickauskas and husband, Al, Schenectady, N.Y.; Madelyn Aebli, Islip, Long Island, N.Y.; Margaret Gebing, Sacramento, Calif.; a brother, Andrew Kolibob, Dupont; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Joan Mecca; three sisters, Josephine and Verna Kolibob and Helen Kasavage; and three brothers, Robert, Albert and John Kolibob.

The funeral will be Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 129 Grant St., Olyphant, with Mass at 9:30 in St. Patrick’s Church, to be celebrated by the Rev. Thomas M. Muldowney, pastor. Interment, St. Mary’s Greek Catholic Cemetery, Minooka section.
