WOLFEBORO, NH— Gertrude Frances (Doyle) Sher of Hollis, NH, formerly of Worcester MA, Clearwater, FL and South Dennis, MA, died peacefully at her daughter’s house in Wolfeboro, NH on Friday 9 February 2007. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Lawrence Sher in April of 2006 and leaves two daughters, Lawreen, wife of David Strauch in Wolfboro and Judith, wife of Peter Jenney in Hollis; two sisters, Marjorie Barberie of Charlotte, NC, Shirley Gay of Foxboro, MA; and a brother, David Doyle of Spencer, MA. Four brothers, Paul, Richard, William and Jack Doyle, predeceased her. She was born in Lowell, MA on 31 October 1923, daughter of Gertrude and William James Doyle of Worcester, MA. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she delighted in spending time with her children, five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 15 February 2007 at NORDGREN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester, MA. Calling hours will be 10:00 to 12:00, service at 12:00, burial to follow at St. Johns Cemetery, Worcester.
