Marveline Potts Moak, age 63, died Monday, February 12, 2007 in Henderson, AR. The daughter of Carl Robert and Emma Lou Suell Holland was born on November 18, 1943 in Calhoun County, MS. She was a seamstress with the Big Yank Corporation in Water Valley, MS and a Baptist.
The visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Henry Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Sockwell and Rev. Steve Quarles presiding. Burial will follow in Driver’s Flat Cemetery in Calhoun County with Barry Sharp, Ben Potts, Randy Hutchinson, Jason Jones, Ron Wallace and James Potts serving as pallbearers.
Mrs. Moak is survived by her mother,Emma Lou Suell Holland of Bruce, MS; two daughters, Connie Lynn Guthery of Henderson, AR and Trina Joy Keeton of Mountain Home, AR; two sons, Ricky Lynn Potts and Danny Joe Potts both of Brookhaven, MS; six sisters, Katherine Brewer of Batesville, MS, Pearl Mansell of Brookhaven, MS, Martha Taylor of Sardis, MS, Kathy Ann Buitt of Bruce, MS, Brenda Kay Kirby of Bruce, MS and Virgie May Scott of Bude, MS; three brothers, Carl Wayne Holland of Pineola, MS, William Thomas White of Bruce, MS and John Frank Holland of Bruce, MS; 9 grandchildren, Cindy Davis, Stephanie Potts, Ricky Potts, Jr, Joshua Potta, Kayla Potts, Hanna Potts, James Keeton, Tyler Keeton and Karolann Keeton; 3 grea-grandchildren, Tony, Bubba and Josiah Davis.
Marveline was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Newell Potts on November 23, 1978 and her father, Carl Robert Holland.
