
Joanne M. Hanna, 64, of Londonderry, NH died February 13, 2007 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston after a lengthy illness. She was born in Lawrence, MA on April 8, 1942, a daughter of the late Raymond and Rita (Raidy) Kroetsch. Raised in Lawrence, she was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. She had resided in Londonderry for the better part of the past 41 years. Prior to her retirement due to illness, Joanne was employed by the Dow Construction Co. of Dracut, MA as a bookkeeper/office manager. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and also enjoyed reading and traveling.
Family members include her husband, Charles D. Hanna of Londonderry; a son, Paul D. Boutin, M.D. of Seattle, WA; two stepchildren, Sean Hanna of Gilbert, AZ and Karen Flanagan of Manchester, NH. She enjoyed an extremely close relationship with her nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were on Friday, February 16 from 5 to 8 PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday at 10 AM in St. Mark’s Church, corner of Mammoth Rd. and South Rd., Londonderry. Spring burial will be in Pillsbury Cemetery, Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Liver Foundation, New England Chapter, 88 Winchester St., Newton, MA 02461.
