Obituary

Maria (Barilone) DeVincenzo, 80, of Dedham, formerly of West Roxbury, died February, 11, 2007 at the Faulkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain. She was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore A. DeVincenzo.

A homemaker, Mrs. DeVincenzo was born and raised in Cervaro, Italy. She was the daughter of the late Cosimo and Antonia (Risi) Barilone. She was a resident of both West Roxbury and Dedham for many years.

She was the cherished mother of Donald DeVincenzo and his wife Christine of Dedham, Henry DeVincenzo of North Attleboro, Anthony DeVincenzo of West Roxbury, Nicholas DeVincenzo of Dedham, Maria Christina Collins and her husband Steven of Cranston, RI, Lisa Graffeo and her husband Anthony of Winchester and Edward DeVincenzo of Dedham. Grandmother of Donald DeVincenzo Jr.; Melissa DeGroff; Jennifer and Kristine Collins; Stephanie Clinton; Nicholas, Michelle and Lisa DeVincenzo and Christine Graffeo. Also survived by six great grandchildren and predeceased by one great grandson. Sister of Elvira Iafano of Toronto, Canada, Anna Caporusso and Angelo Barilone both of Italy. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Friday at 8:00 AM. Funeral mass in St. Susanna’s Church, Dedham, at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Interment in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations may be made in Maria’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
