Marilyn Elizabeth Giguere, 59 of Kissimmee passed away Monday, February 5, 2007 at home with her family by her side. She was born in Westerly, RI and lived in Webster, MA for many years before moving to Kissimmee in 1990.
Marilyn was a medical records technician at Osceola Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, enjoyed ceramics, cooking and skating.
She is survived by her husband, Frederick “Rickey” Giguere of Kissimmee, daughters, Dawn Marie and her husband Duane Cortis of Dudley, MA, Tara Marie and her husband Kevin Gelineau of Webster, Kyra Marie Giguere and Heidi Marie Giguere, both of Kissimmee, her mother, Minnie DePlacido of Westerly, a brother, Alfred DePlacido of Westerly, sisters Carolyn DePlacido, Deanne Lewis, Gloria Barber and Sandra Anderson, all of Westerly, 4 grandchildren, Heather Cortis of Dudley and Benjamin, Evan and Emily Gelineau, all of Webster.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 13 from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, East Main Street, Webster. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. If desired, donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice.
