Obituary

Jacques R.Dessauvages,92,of Douglas Pike, Smithfield, a sales representative for the Ames Textile Company in Boston, MA until retiring died Monday at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of the late Oglore E. “Pat” (Roy) Dessauvages.
Born in Woonsocket, he had been a resident of Woonsocket before moving to Smithfield 57 years ago.
Mr. Dessauvages was a WWII Army veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Francine J. Dessauvages of Smithfield and Denise M. DeAngelis-DeMarco and son-in-law, Frank P. DeMarco of Cranston and grandsons, Matthew P. and Joseph R. DeAngelis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11 am in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 1409 Park Avenue, Woonsocket. Visitation Thursday evening 4-7pm in the *ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common,Greenville, RI. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 169 George Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860.
