Grace A. Ferrera, age 74 of Medford, died Monday in her home following a brief illness. Mrs. Ferrera was born in Revere, MA, the daughter of the late Ralph and the late Louise (Carbone) Statuto. She was a Medford resident for forty-five years formerly of Revere. Grace was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved taking care of her family. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Grace´s memory to Hallmark Health Hospice 100 Hospital Rd. Grace is survived by her beloved husband, Natale Ferrera. Two devoted children, John Ferrera and Deborah Ferrera both of Haverhill, two loving step daughters, Joanne Frate of Woburn and Patricia Ferrera-Vellante of Revere. grace is also survived by six loving grandchildren, Alicia Grecco, Anthony and Louis Frate, Joanna Sleeper, Alexandra Vellante and Carrie Ferrera and six loving great grandchildren. Sister of Helen Rosanio of Methuen, Olympia Sordillo of Everett, the late Phyllis Dello Russo, Lydia Rampelberg, Carmen, Emily, Ralph and Louis Statuto. Many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
