Mary C. (O’Donnell) Stefaniak of Framingham formerly of Natick and Newton died Sat Feb 10, 2007 at the Mary Ann Morse Nursing Home in Natick. She was 86.
Born in Manchester NH, she graduated from Watertown High School and attended Suffolk University. She worked for more than 25 years as an accounts receivable clerk for IBM. An avid bridge played she was a Life Master of the American Contract Bridge League. Wife of the late Joseph L. Stefaniak, she is survived by her children Patricia Gassett and her husband Norman of West Newton, Joseph Stefaniak his wife Patricia of Needham, Laurie McNeice and her husband Stephen of Natick, Frederick Stefaniak and his wife Kathy of Salem NH, Brian Stefaniak and his wife Diane of Billerica, Paul Stefaniak and his wife Lori of Greenland NH, and John Stefaniak of Ashland; her sisters and brothers Margaret Schwarz (her twin) of St. Louis MO, John O’Donnell of Needham, Patricia Bray of Milton, Thomas O’Donnell of Cape Cod, Francis O’Donnell of FL, Dorothy Gavin of Marlborough, Gael O’Donnell of No. Attleboro, and the late Barbara Bray and Joseph and Gerald O’Donnell. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends will gather at the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St. NEWTON CORNER on Tues Feb 13 at 9:30 AM and proceed to a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Help of Christians Church at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Mon 4-8 PM. Parking lot adjacent to funeral home. Interment St. Stephen’s Cemetery Framingham.
