AUBURN- Rene’ O. “Speed” Cusson, 85, of 19 Gates Court a retired pump technician, died today October 21, 2002 in Saint Vincent Hospital, after an illness.
He is survived by his wife Bertha A. (LaBarge) Cusson, Two Daughters; Joyce Roy, of Auburn, and Beverly Keenan, of Leicester, a Son William Cusson of Auburn, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by two Brothers; Paul and Edmund Cusson, both of Auburn, four sisters; Claire Philippo, of Oxford, Lorena Barber, and Florence MacMaster of N., Fort Meyers, FL Doris Desrosiers, of Auburn. Brothers; Henry and Norman Cusson, and a sister; Beatrice Montville, all predecease him.
Born in Worcester son of the late Ferdinand and Clara (Contois) Cusson, he was educated in Worcester schools, he attended Worcester Boys Trade.
Mr. Cusson was a pump technician for R. H. White Construction Co. in Auburn for 35 years before retiring in 1981 previously he had worked as a machine technician at Norton Co. in Worcester for many years.
He was a member of the Auburn Lodge of Elks, and a Fourth Degree Member of the Auburn Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed traveling.
His funeral will be held Thursday October 24, 2002 with a Mass at 10:00 AM in North American Martyrs Church 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
