Bella (Barboza) Medeiros. Age 88. Wife of Frank S. Medeiros Jr. Residence Swansea, formerly Fall River. Died Sunday at the Country Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Swansea. Born in Fall River.Daughter of the late John Barboza and the late Blanche (Cabral) Barboza. She was a Swansea resident since 2004 and previously a lifelong Fall River resident. She was a retired Floor Lady having worked at the former Fall River Knitting Company for many years. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church, Stafford Rd., Fall River.
Besides her Husband of Fall River, she is survived by: 2 Sons: Richard J. Medeiros of Fall River and Ronald F. Medeiros of S. Dartmouth. 5 Grandchildren & 5 Great Grandchildren & several Nieces and Nephews. She was the Sister of the late Manuel Barboza, Rose Barboza and Mary Soares.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home,Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Wednesday at 9 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Trinity Church, Stafford Rd. at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Tuesday 4-8 P.M.
