Madden of Bridgewater, February 7, 2007 Jane E. (Buckley) Madden 60 years. Beloved wife for 39 years of Joseph E. Madden. Devoted mother of Jennifer, Rhiannon, Rebekah and Christopher Madden. Loving sister of Kathleen Page, Maureen Bourne, Susan Lima, John Buckley, Jr. and Paul Buckley, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish at 9 am. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 pm. Obituary

Jane Elizabeth (Buckley) Madden 60 years of Bridgewater died Wednesday evening at Mass General Hospital after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife for 39 years of Joseph E. Madden.
Mrs. Madden was born and raised in Brockton a daughter of the late John A. and Elizabeth (Giles) Buckley. For the past 35 years she had been a resident of Bridgewater. She graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School in 1964. She worked for the New England Telephone Company for many years as well as a vision technician for the Brockton school system.
Jane was famous for her mischievous spirit, her joke telling, her wonderful advice and her compassion and warmth for everyone she met. Jane enjoyed conversations with any and everyone and made new friends everyday. She was an avid reader and voracious follower of politics. She loved cooking, going to the beach and taking trips to Newport and New York City.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her four beloved children Jennifer, Rhiannon, Rebekah and Christopher Madden and her five loving siblings Kathleen Page, Maureen Bourne, Susan Lima, John Buckley, Jr. and Paul Buckley, as well as many nieces and nephews.
