Cynthia Ann (Turton) Dyer of Andover, Massachusetts, died at the Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence on Sunday, February 4, 2007. She was 64 years old.
Born on January 5, 1943, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, she was the beloved daughter of Eleanor (Martini) and the late Ernest Turton. Ms. Dyer was a longtime member of St. Augustine Church in Andover as well as member of the Andona Society and the Newcomers Club of Andover. She was also an avid tennis player and enjoyed figure skating, skiing and golf. She was also a wonderful cook.
Cynthia will be sorely missed by her beloved mother; Eleanor (Martini) Turton of Andover, two sons; Christopher J. Dyer of Andover and Damon M. and his wife Pamela Dyer of Andover, one daughter; Tiffany A. Dyer of Andover, three grandchildren; Emma and Carly Dyer and Talia Colombosian of Andover and several cousins; David and Carol Hawkins of Andover, Barbara and John Farragher of North Andover and Bradley and Elaine Richards of Rye, New Hampshire.
A Memorial Mass was celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover, Saturday, February 10, 2007. Many relatives and friends attended. Calling hours were in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Friday, February 9, 2007, from 4 to 8 PM.
