Lillian Jordan Mullin, 90, of Sarasota, Florida, formerly of Tift County, died Thursday, February 8, 2007, at Doctor's Hospital in Sarasota, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 12, 2007, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Tony Crawley will officiate with burial to follow in Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Chula. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 12, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ms. Mullin was born on January 18, 1917 in Tift County and was the daughter of R. J. "Nick" Jordan and Margaret Annis Jordan, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Mullin, ten brothers and two sisters. She was a homemaker and a member of Chula United Methodist Church. She was the 12th child of 13 children and a member of the Eastern Star, Chapter, #66, in Sarasota, Florida.
Ms. Mullin is survived by one step-daughter, Judy Mullin Corbin of Sarasota, Florida; three step grandchildren; and four step great grandchildren; and 20 nieces and nephews.
