Yvette Lavoie, 89, formerly of South Rd., died Wednesday in the Friendly Home in Woonsocket. Miss Lavoie was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Jean Baptiste and Eliza (Girard) Lavoie. Miss Lavoie had resided at the former Ladd School in Exeter for 60 years.
She is survived by a sister, Germaine Sarrazin, of Woonsocket, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Edgar, Jean Baptiste, and Simone Lavoie.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 am from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket.
