Obituary

Salem: Elaine I. Waliackas, age 60 of Salem, died Monday evening, February 5, 2007 at the NSMC / Salem Hospital following a brief illness. She was the wife of Edward J. Waliackas, with whom she shared 24 years of marriage.
Born in Malden and raised in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Ida (Valeri) Fallavollita. A graduate of Everett High School she first worked for New England Merchants Bank in Boston, which later became Fleet Bank. Elaine recently retired, as a teller, for the Danvers Bank at the Canal Street., Salem branch. She and her husband enjoyed attending functions at the Gerry # 5 V.F.A. of Marblehead.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 sisters: Anna M. Pastore of Malden & Diana M. Richard of Winter Haven, FL, formerly of Pembroke, 1 brother Serafino 'Sal' Fallavollita of Miami, FL. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Friday, February 9, 2007 at 9:30 am from the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St., [Rt. 114 / 1-A] Salem followed by her funeral mass in Ste. Anne Church, Jefferson Ave., Salem at 10:30 am. Visiting hours: Thursday, 4 to 8 pm. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the North Shore Cancer Center, 17 Centennial Dr., Peabody, MA 01960
