Obituary

Bishop, Bradford N., of Palm Bay, FL, 69, at home on December 16th. Survived by his beloved wife Dorothy (Rathbun) Bishop of Palm Bay, FL, his sons Bradford N. Bishop III and his wife Susan of Duxbury, Jeffrey T. Bishop and his wife Jacqueline of Plymouth and his daughter Rhonda Bishop of Plymouth. He also leaves his sisters Linda Miles and her husband William of Katy, TX and Nancy Smith of Plymouth, 6 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Sunday February 11th at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt. 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) at 2 PM. There are no visiting hours and burial is private. He was a retired Verizon employee of 30 years. During his retired years he drove a school bus for the Town of Plymouth then drove for Easter Seals and the Adult Day Care of Melbourne, FL. Born to George Bishop Sr. and Dora (Carmichael) Bishop in Cambridge, MA, he graduated from Silver Lake Regional School Class of 1965 where he played baseball and basketball, he also attended Boston University. He started with New England Telephone in 1966 and Popes Hill Garage in Dorchester, MA and later transferred to Rockland, Brockton and Cataumet. He enjoyed sports and spent many hours at his computer keeping contact with his classmates.
