Josephine E. Giangregorio, age 69, of Wilmington for many years, died suddenly February 2nd. Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late Joseph N. and Carmella F. (Rapino) Bonanno.
Josephine was a devoted mother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family.She worked for thirteen years as a cafeteria worker with the Wilmington Public School System. She also worked for several years at various Dunkin Donut Shops throughout the area. In her spare time she enjoyed playing Bingo.
Josephine is survived by her children, Joseph L. Giangregorio and his wife Pamela of Wilmington, Carla I. Giangregorio and her partner Kathy Delaney of Wilmington. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren. She is further survived by her brother Joseph “Sonny” Bonanno of FL and Michele Bonanno-Lezberg of Peabody. Josephine is predeceased by her former husband, Carlo Giangregorio.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Anthony Church 850 Main St. Woburn, Friday, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, Thursday, from 4 thru 8. Interment will be private.
