WORCESTER - Doris M. (Emmett) Dumouchel, 89, of 107 Smithville Road, Spencer and formerly of Worcester died Saturday, October 19 in Christopher House after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 66 years Louis A. Dumouchel of Spencer. Two sons Ronald L. Dumouchel of East Brookfield and Gerald S. Dumouchel of Fairfield, Maine; a daughter Joan L. Pratt of Worcester; a sister Nancy Plouzinski of West Boylston; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester daughter of Frank and Anna (Shimko) Emmett.
Mrs. Dumouchel was a secretary for Astra Pharmaceutical for 20 years, retiring in 1975. She graduated from Commerce High School and Becker College and was an avid camper.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, October 22 in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond Street (www.Royfuneral.com) with a service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, October 21 in the funeral home.
