Hitch McMillan, 13 month old son of Stephen and Mary S. McMillan of Ocilla, died Saturday, February 3, 2007 at the Irwin County Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held 2 PM, Monday, February 5, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with the Rev. Earlie Holt officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Paron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Berrien County. The Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Sunday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Hitch was born December 19, 2005 in Ocilla, Georgia . Along with his parents, he is survived by three brothers: Taylor McMillan of Douglas, Stephen McMillan of Fitzgerald, and Christian Weaver of Ocilla; two sisters: Shanna McMillan and Kaylee McMillan both of Douglas;
Paternal grandmother: Melba McMillan of Fitzgerald; Maternal grandparents: Florence and Chris Harper of Fitzgerald, Lewis Stephens, Jr. of Rochelle; great-grandparents: Mildred Cleghorn, Bill and Annette Newton, Kathy and Rob Dilisio all of Fitzgerald, Pat and Lewis Stephens, Sr. of Rochelle and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by two grand-fathers: Rev. Randall McMillan, Jr. and Jesse Cleghorn.
