Josephine Luberti, 100 of Medford, died Friday in the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital Boston, after a brief illness.
Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie (Jodice) Albano.
Mrs. Luberti was a Telephone Operator, at the age of 18, and retired many years ago. Josephine was a former member of the State Federation Womens’ IT Club, Santa Maria Lodge, American Legion Post 45 Ladies Auxiliary and St. Francis of Assisi Church Choir.
Beloved wife of the late Guido. Devoted mother of Robert Luberti of Bradford, NH. Loving grandmother of Patricia Luberti of Newport, RI and Maria Luberti of Austin, TX.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Tuesday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Monday 2 - 4 and 7 – 9.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
