Obituary

John Earl Baldree, 69, of Nashville, died Friday, February 2, 2007, at Memorial Convalescent Center in Adel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 4, 2007, at Empire Primitive Baptist Church in Lanier County. Rev. Shawn Suggs and Rev. James Irions will officiate with burial to follow in Empire Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Ronald Griner, Buck Leslie, Wallace McClendon, Don Cole, E. W. Wilkerson and Phil Williams will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 3, 2007, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

Mr. Baldree was born on September 21, 1937 in Nashville and was the son of John Edward Baldree and Annie Bell Rogers Baldree, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Doris Holloway Baldree. He was retired from the City of Nashville and was of the Holiness faith. He had lived in Nashville all of his life.

Mr. Baldree is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Annie and Ronald Morgan of Nashville; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Crystal Baldree of Leesburg and William and Patricia Baldree of Nashville; and seven grandchildren, Joshua Morgan, Haley Morgan, Will Baldree, Brian Baldree, Kathleen Baldree, Adam Baldree and Abigail Baldree.
