Hilda M. Francis (DeCosta), 80, of Elmgrove Avenue died Friday at Fatima Hospital in North Providence. She was the wife of the late Joseph Francis. They had been married for 59 years at the time of his death.
Born in East Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Branco)Francis. She lived in Johnston for 55 years previously living in East Providence. Mrs. Francis was an assembler for AT Cross until retiring in 1989.
She is survived by two sons, Dennis J. Francis of Smithfield and Walter A. Francis of Coventry; four grandchildren, five great grandsons and a brother, Walter DeCosta of Riverside.
Her Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 5 at 11:00am in the *ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Visitation Monday 10-11am. Please omit flowers.
