Miriam Arlene (Willock) Grover, 81 of Bellingham died January 31 in Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She was the wife of Robert Grover Sr.
Born in Winthrop, January 22, 1926, the daughter of the late Charles and Marie (Parker) Willock, Mrs. Grover was raised in Winthrop and had lived in Bellingham for over 40 years.
Mrs. Grover had been a Librarian for the Town of Bellingham for over 10 years.
She had been active in the Girl and Boy Scouts and Bellingham PTA.
She was a longtime member of St. Brendan’s Church and enjoyed reading, music and movies.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Robert Grover Jr. and his wife Barbara of Mendon and daughter Susan Banner and her husband Tony of Uxbridge.
She is also survived by her granddaughter Kelley Anne Banner.
She was the sister of the late Charles Willock, Eloise DiVito and Barbara Locklear.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday February 5 in St. Brendan’s Church, 382 Hartford Avenue (Rte. 126), North Bellingham at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be private in St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.
