Mr. Paul Stephen Guenther of Reading, formerly of Medford, died at his home in Reading, unexpectedly, on January 30, 2007. He was 51 years old.
Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, on September 15, 1955, he was the loving son of Lorraine M. (Russell) Guenther of Reading and the late Kurt Joseph Guenther. Mr. Guenther was a graduate of the Medford Public School system and had been a resident of Medford for many years before moving to Reading two years ago. He loved to play hockey, Lacrosse and Soccer. He also loved Halloween and making Haunted House’s for all the local children. In his spare time he enjoyed making many different items out of wood and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Mr. Guenther will be sorely missed by his loving mother, Lorraine M. (Russell) Guenther of Reading, two children; Stephen K. Guenther of Revere and Kristen M. Guenther of Everett, one sister and brother-in-law; Carol J. and her husband Rabi Ravichandran of Northville, Michigan, two uncles; bill Russell and William Russell both of Reading and one aunt; Eleanor Wipfler of Bristol, Connecticut.
A graveside service was held at Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Road, Medford, on Saturday, February, 3, 2007, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome. Visiting hours were held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Friday, February 2, 2007, from 6 to 8 PM.
