Obituary

William O.B. "Tex" Faust of Boston, who had lived in Wakefield, Malden and Princeton, Indiana, died on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at Boston Medical Center in Boston following a brief illness. He was 50 years old.

Tex was born in Princeton, Indiana on August 28, 1956. He grew up there before moving to Malden, Massachusetts where he attended schools into junior high school. His family moved back to Princeton, Indiana and Tex graduated from Princeton High School. He served in the United States Navy during the late 1970's. For several years Tex drove 18 Wheel trucks cross country working out of Fulton, Mo. and his destinations included Boston, New York, Los Angeles, New Orleans and many other cities. He also worked in Beebe, Ark. detailing used cars, Tye, Tx. as a mechanic, Abilene, Tx. installing electrical equipment, Wakefield, Ma. installing signs, and recently Quincy, Ma. working as an organic farmer.

Tex was the beloved son of the late Virgil and Marjorie (Thomas) Faust. He is the devoted brother of Deborah A. Alibrandi and her husband Steven J. of Wakefield. He is the beloved nephew of Barbara and Denzel Wallace of Medford, Gracie Webster of Searcy, Arkansas and Jerry Wright of Hazleton, Indiana. Tex is the dear friend of Patricia Stephens of Melrose. He is also survived by many loving cousins and close friends throughout the City of Boston.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours for Tex on Saturday February 3, 2007 in the Carr Funeral Home 1159 Main St. Melrose at Wakefield line, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service for Tex at 4;30 p.m. Cremation will take place following his service.

In lieu of flowers, kindly make memorial donations in Tex's name to The Pine Street Inn, c/o Development Office, 444 Harrison Avenue, Boston, Mass. 02118.
