Obituary

Bridgewater- Albert J. Rullo, 92, of Bridgewater died Jan. 26, 2007, at Kind Health Care in Stoughton after a brief illness. He was the husband of Vera (Jackowchuk) Rullo.

Born Jan. 5, 1915, in Middleboro, he was the son of the late Vito and Antoinette (Colucci) Rullo.

Mr. Rullo had been a resident of Bridgewater for the past 56 years and would have been married 57 years in May.

He was a shoe factory worker for John E. Lucy Co., Stacy Adams, Alden Shoe, E.T. Wright and Stenson Shoe.

Mr. Rullo was in the U.S. Army and served during World War II.

He enjoyed history and current events and fishing, bocce and sports.

In addition to his wife Vera, he is survived by his three daughters, Paula Bows of Dennis, Linda Holmes of Bridgewater and Nancy Smith of Pembroke; four grandchildren, Kevin Bows, Keith Bows, Lori Demers and Donald W. Smith III. He was also the brother of Leonis Balzotti and the late Henry, Samuel, Carmella Moskos, Alfred, Doris Luizzi, Annie Casoni, Nancy Petrowski and Helen Rullo.

A funeral service will be held at 10 am Wednesday in Trinity Episcopal Church in Bridgewater. Visiting hours will be held in the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Tuesday from 4-8 pm.
