Mrs. Thelma M. (Arnesen) Gagne, 99, 0f 1655 Main Street, Berlin, NH passed away on Sunday January 28, 2007 at her home. She was born in Berlin, NH on December 1, 1907 the daughter of Theodore and Hansine (Hanson) Arnesen and was a lifelong resident of Berlin. She was a graduate of Berlin High School and attended Keene Normal School. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, and active member of the Ladies Aide at St. Paul’s and an avid bridge player.
Members of the family include 1 son Theodore Gagne of Hopkinton,NH; 3 daughters Barbara Labbe of Berlin, NH, Phyllis Grover of Green Bay, WI and Susan Gallagher of Berlin, NH; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Albert J. Gagne on October 30, 1988, a grandson David Gallagher, brothers Robert Arnesen, Everett Arnesen and Thorvald Arnesen and sisters Harriett Marquis, Theresa Crabtree and Gertrude Larocque..
Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 3, 2007 at 1:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH. Interment will be in the New City Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM prior to the funeral.
