Frank R. Bove, Of Newfields, NH, Stoneham and formerly of Medford, died Friday at Sunbridge Nursing Home, Portsmouth, NH. He was 83.
Born in Winooski, VT, he was the son of the late Raffael and the late Maria (D´Ambrosia) Bove. Frank grew up in Medford and graduated from Medford High. He served in the Army during World War II. A tool and die maker by trade, Frank enjoyed a long career with Raytheon as a foreman in the missile division. Frank loved golf and was a member of several bowling leagues throughout the years.
He was the beloved husband of the late Grace B. (Piazza). He was a devoted father to Joyce Bove of New York City and Frank R. Bove Jr. and his wife Debbie of Newfields, NH. He was a loving grandfather to Jack, Alec, Michael, Stacey and brother of the late Esther Pignone.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Monday at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 3 thru 7. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
