Agnes M.Marsella, 94, of Everly Street, Cranston, co- owner of the former Sue’s Designing & Alterations in Providence for 40 years before retiring in 1975, died peacefully, Friday, January 26, 2007 at her home.
She was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Bernarda (Galante) Marsella. She was a former member of the Edgewood Yacht Club and was a classical pianist.
She is survived by a sister Mary Inglesi of Cranston, two brothers Charles J. Marsella of Cranston and Frank Marsella of Rehoboth, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Susan and Alfred Marsella, Alda Ventrone and Sadie DiMeglio.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 10am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Avenue, Providence. Visitation Tuesday 9-10 am. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston.
