Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish (formerly St. Colman Church) at 9am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Shaun M. Curtin died unexpectedly Friday morning after suffering a heart attack at home. He was born in Brockton a son of Rose Ann (O’Connor) Curtin of Holbrook and the late Anthony F. Curtin, Sr. He was raised and educated in Brockton. At the time of his death he was the proprietor of Curtins Fuel, a company he started as a young man. Shaun enjoyed cars, trucks, trips to Hawaii, but most of all the time spent with his children. He also enjoyed Elvis and old time movies. He supported many civic causes in Brockton and Abington.
He is survived by his wife Karen J. (Williams) Curtin, a daughter Sarah, a son John, his brothers and sisters Anthony Curtin Jr. of Halifax; Nancy St. George of Pembroke; Linda Landis of Mountain Top, PA; Michael and Paul Curtin both of Holbrook; David Curtin of Brockton and Maureen Petersen of Holbrook; his mother Rose Ann (O’Connor) Curtin of Holbrook and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the son of the late Anthony F. Curtin, Sr. and brother of the late Patrick Curtin.
