Obituary

WORCESTER__ Stanley J. Suski, 94, of Worcester died Wednesday, January 24, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center. His wife, Alice F. (Baird) Suski died in 2002. His first wife, Mary (Michalski) Suski died in 1984.
He leaves two daughters, Rosalie M. Jerominek of Worcester and Carolyn J. Gendron of Middleboro; two stepdaughters, Patricia A. Corey of Worcester and Anne M. Robertson of Washington, NY., two stepsons, Robert D. Coleman of Cottonwood, AZ., and James D. Coleman of Walden, NY., a brother, Frank Susskey of Uxbridge; two sisters, Amelia Dogil of Upton and Phyllis Dogil of Grafton; seven grandchildren, 9 great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was born in East Douglas, a son of Stanley M. and Salome (Kmiecak) Suski and lived there and later in Uxbridge and has lived in Worcester for 32 years.
Mr. Suski was a wet and dry finisher for the former Uxbridge Worsted Woolen Mills, later known as Stanley Woolen Mills for 31 years. He also worked as a supervisor at Rockwell International in Hopedale for 15 years before retiring in 1975. Stanley enjoyed gardening and landscaping. He was a member of the Polish American Club and was a member of the Special Police, both in Uxbridge. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and the Holy Name Society.
The funeral will be held Monday, January 29, from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a service at 11:00 a.m. in Concordia Lutheran Church, 86 Murray Ave. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Northbridge. Calling hours in the funeral home are Sunday, January 28, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
