Margaret H. “Margie” (Flynn) Sullivan, 82, died at Baypointe Rehab. & Nursing Center in Brockton on Wednesday, January 24 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late John E. Sullivan. Born in Stoughton, she was a lifelong resident of Stoughton and a graduate of St. Mary’s School and Stoughton High School, Class of 1942. Mrs. Sullivan was a shipping clerk at JW Wood in Stoughton for several years before her marriage. In her free time she loved painting and listening to music.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Sullivan was preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius and Alice (Sheridan) Flynn and her siblings, Joseph Flynn, Mary Lally, Alice Curley and Helen Benoit. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews and great-grand-nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, January 29 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 3-6 PM. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton.
