Obituary

Salem: Barbara J. (Conley) Morneau age 77 of Salem, died at the Harborside Healthcare-Cedar Glen, Tuesday, January 23, 2007, following a long illness. She was the wife of Robert A. Morneau, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage.
Born and raised in Danvers, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Alice (Eaton) Conley. As a young woman, she worked for the former CBS Hytron of Salem, but left to raise her 3 young children. Alice later returned to work in the dietary department of the Beverly Hospital. She was most recently employed as a home day care provider for Catholic Charities. Following their retirement, Barbara and Bob made their home in Lakeland, Florida from 1992 until their return to Salem in 2003.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter: Joanne Howell & her husband David of Salem, 2 sons: Robert J. Morneau & his fiancée Laura Fielding both of Salem, Raymond P. Morneau & his wife Silvia of Cadiz, KY a brother, Gardner Conley of Danvers, a sister Patricia Chalmers of Peabody, 7 grandchildren: Stacie Vicente, Chrystal Boyle, Lisa Martin, Melissa Howell, Raymond Morneau, Jr., Roselda & Benjamin Morneau. Barbara is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Friday, January 26, 2007, at 10 am in the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St., [Rt. 114 / 1-A] Salem. Visiting hours: Today (Thursday) 4 to 8 pm. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, W. Peabody. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Shore Cancer Center, 17 Centennial Dr., Peabody, MA 01960.
