Boston - Martha (Camara) DeForge, 86, of Chace Street, Somerset passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital after a long illness. She was the widow of Arthur DeForge.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Antone and Marianne (Mello) Camara, she had lived in Somerset for the past 50 years. Mrs. DeForge was a seamstress at various mills in the area. She was a Communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, Somerset.
Survivors include 2 sons: Thomas J. DeForge of Miramar, FL and Robert DeForge of Palm Bay, FL; a sister: Matilda Lima of Fall River; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Arthur DeForge, Jr.
Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, February 2, 2007 at Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport at 11:00 A.M.
